The original Power Coins drew their power from dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals and had an animal engraved on each one.

Kimberly Hart, the Pink Ranger, piloted the Pterodactyl Dinozord. It formed the chestplate of the Megazord, She could fire twin lasers when used individually, which looked like lightning. This was the only Dinozord with flight capability.
